I'm Tired

I'm so tired.

Tired of not eating cake.
So I ate some.

Tired of not eating chocolate.
So I ate some.

Tired of not drinking soda.
So I drank some.

Tired of getting up and going to the gym.
So I didn't go.

Tired of worrying about what I eat.
So I ate everything I could.

And now I'm sick. And tired. Now I'm tired of being lazy. And I'm tired of not focusing, and I'm tired of not having any self control. I'm tired of being a bum. And I'm tired of being fat.

My mother always told me - Change only comes when the pain of staying the same is more then the pain of change. Looks like she was right.

Yeah, I'm tired of that too.

Cool post...and indeed true. As horrible as it feels to be fat...it also a heck of a lot easier than working to stay fit.

Chin up little chick a dee. I've finally decided to just embrace my flab. And if people don't like me, too bad, soo sad for them.

I do like your pictures tho. Come on over to my FO Sunday meme, and link up.

Yes I'm shamelessly promoting myself. :)

I hear ya, girl - I think "being sick and tired of being sick and tired" has been my life's motto. It's ok - it happens. Being good all the time can be exhausting if it doesn't come naturally. Just get up, dust yourself off, and get back to doing what you know you need to do. Chalk it up to experience and move forwards.

I also hate it when my mother is right (when do I get to be RIGHT??), but I have to say, I like her idea about change.

Hang in there!

I know what you mean!!! Allow yourself to be tired for a little bit and then get back at it. It sucks...but it looks like we are in this FOREVER. Keep your head up! :)

It's a new day, a new hour, a new minute...you have it. Take it. The new moment. Like the old Astaire-Rodgers sung tune: "Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and START ALL OVER AGAIN."

Being sick and tired...remember that feeling when the next urge to pig-out comes. That's all you can do...remember how bad you felt AFTERwards.

Hugs for a better MINUTE right this MINUTE.

Remember this feeling. Hold onto it and store it away for safe keeping. Then bring it back out, the next time you're tired of the hard work. And it IS VERY HARD work.
And we have to do it every single day. Yes, WE.
But all of us in the fatosphere have each other and we didn't before. That makes this time easier. It's going to be easier from now on.

On a less serious note,I would have said "less hard," instead of "easier," but then I'd HAVE to add a "That's what she said" to it. And that might take away from my message. ;)

LOL THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!

Seriously, all of you are so totally awesome. I'm just having a bleh kind of weekend, my husband was sick, the son was sick,a and the house went to poo, as in totally messy. But I'm going to the gym tonite with my bestest friend, and I've been good today.

I do remember that feeling and I"m learning to HATE it! But that's a good thing. :) Thanks for all the hugs and encouragement, I couldn't do all this without you all!!!

Fat is Hard.
Thin is Hard.
Pick your Hard.

So! Pity Party over, and you are going to pick your wonderful self off, tie those sneakers and have fun at the gym! You can do it!

BIG Hugs!

Sorry things got so overwhelming! It was probably a response to the stress you were under this weekend, but if doing everything at once is getting you down, maybe scale back your aims to just one or two things?
